What happens if my account gets deactivated?

When your plan expires on your due date, your account will be deactivated. If you have a prepaid plan, this will happen immediately. If you have a subscription, this will happen a week after your failed renewal payment.

After your account is deactivated, we keep your files for 15 more days - but you won't be able to download or stream them during this period. If you reactivate your account by making a payment or joining a family plan within this 15-day grace period, you'll get access to them again.

If you don't reactivate your account within these 15 days, we sadly have to remove your files. We wish we could keep them a little longer, but storing them is not free. :( Once your files are deleted, they are gone from our servers for good. Any active transfers (including seeding transfers) and RSS feeds you have will also be stopped.

If you have History enabled, you can find the sources of your most recent transfers on the History page and re-download them once your account is reactivated. On this page, you will see a source button under each item. You can obtain the source link of your transfer from there. (We can't keep sources for uploads though, we only have the sources for transfers started with download/magnet links.)

If History is not enabled, you can go to the Privacy and Safety section under Settings and toggle Log activities on the History page to enable it for your future transfers.

However, aside from your files, even if you take a very long break, your account won't be deleted unless you destroy your account yourself. If you’d like to destroy your account and all associated data, please visit here. Important note here: this action is not reversible.
