How can I fetch a Bittorrent file?

You have 2 options.

Option 1: Fetching with an url:

1. Go to a torrent provider site. Let’s say legaltorrents.com
   
2. Choose an item you’d like to download
   
3. Copy torrent file's url by clicking the right mouse button and choosing “copy link location” command.
   
4. Login to Put.io. Click on the "add new files" button.
   
5. Choose “Enter URL's to fetch” if it is not already chosen
   
6. Paste the link to the textarea box and click "Next". (you can add more links before clicking "Next")
   
7. If it says ready, you can start fetching.

Option 2: uploading a torrent file from your computer:

1. Login to Put.io
   
2. Click on ‘Add New Files’ button
   
3. Choose “Upload from your Computer”
   
4. Click on "Browse" and locate the torrent file from your harddisk.
   
5. Click on the "Upload" button.
   
6. Put.io will notice it's a torrent file you are uploading and will start the transfer.
