You can use App-specific Passwords as a secure alternative to your account password when integrating put.io with other services or tools such as FTP and WebDAV.

1- Go to Account from your account's menu and click on App-specific Passwords. Here's a link that'll take you there directly: https://app.put.io/account/app-specific-passwords

2- Click the Create One button.

3- A pop-up window will appear where you can name your token to remember its purpose. Once you've entered a name, click Submit.

4- Your app-specific password will now be generated and ready to use. Make sure to store it in a secure place, as it will not be displayed again after this point. You can use the clipboard icon to easily copy the token.
