Can I stream 4K on Apple TV?
By default, the app plays the 1080p MP4 version of your video files. Audio gets downmixed to stereo too. We can't carry 5.1 into the MP4s during conversion.
But you're not stuck with that. If you have VLC installed on your Apple TV, click and hold on a file and select Open with VLC. This streams the original file in full quality and original format.
AirPlay
You can AirPlay your videos to Apple TV from Safari or our iOS app. Just make sure both devices are on the same network and you should see the AirPlay icon.

Buffering on Apple TV? Try changing your proxy first (Account > Choose your proxy). This usually fixes it.
Still no luck? Head to Account > Diagnostics and try the test streams. Let us know if you get the same buffering with those test videos. It will help us figure out what's going on.
