Every time I try to pay via paypal it's failing.
PayPal said: Can't proceed with the payment, return to put.io.

I try to order the pro version with a german paypal account.

Thanks

    Hello Banjo,
Sounds like PayPal cannot process your credit card. If you had made a payment via PayPal before, problem could be on our side. We'll look into it. Meanwhile:

    • Make sure you've given PayPal a valid credit card.
    • Make sure recurring payments aren't disabled on your PayPal account.

Please feel free to contact us anytime, we'll be happy to help.

    Thanks for reporting.
    Cem

Hmm. I bought quite a lot with that account.
I even tried another one. Didn't worked. Even the Premium Upgrade is not working.

I would love to get a Pro version before all the slots are gone.

    Thanks Cem!

addition to that, is there any other form of payment where a credit card is not required?
    Not everyone uses one.

    Hi guys,
PayPal error code for this situation is 10417. We are looking into this. No charges have been made to your PayPal accounts because of this error. Here is PayPal's description:

    10417: Transaction cannot complete.

Long and a bit technical explanation is:

"It is possible that the payment method the customer chooses on PayPal might not succeed when you send DoExpressCheckoutPayment. The most likely cause is that the customer’s credit card failed bank authorization.

Another possible, though rare, cause is that the final OrderTotal is significantly higher than the original estimated OrderTotal you sent with SetExpressCheckout at Integration Point 1, and the final OrderTotal does not pass PayPal’s risk model analysis.

If the customer has no other PayPal funding source that is likely to succeed, DoExpressCheckoutPayment response returns error code 10417. Instruct the customer that PayPal is unable to process the payment and redisplay alternative
payment methods with which the customer can pay."

    • You may have not entered a funding source to your PayPal account.
    • Your funding method is not accepted by PayPal to use for Put.io

Please log in to your PayPal account to check. Entering an another credit card or adding check option to PayPal funding sources may help. After this issue is resolved with PayPal, you may renew your order.

I don't think it's related to my Paypal account. It seems that it's a configuration issue on Put.io's side. I added a credit card to my Paypal account and doesn't change anything. Please solve the issue before all of the slots are gone :(

I have one Credit Card and another account added to my PayPal. Both of the accounts have different Credit Cards (MasterCard/Visa).

The only thing I can think of is that both Credit Cards are from germany. Maybe there is the issue?

Is there any way of reserving spots for the people who have this problem until it's resolved?

I also tried another os. Windows and MacOSX with different browsers are not working for me.

    Thanks Guys!

Sorry to say, no progress has been made yet. We are still trying to find a solution.

We've reserved slots for the people who had this issue.

I'll keep you posted about it.

    Hi There,

Will another alternative payment option be added since some can't pay via paypal?
To be honest, if you are located in Turkey, wire transfer from a TR bank account to yours would be splendid as a payment option.

I would even wire to a staffs TR account, and he/she can use that amount to process my order since I can't use Paypal.

I have verified paypal account but no more credit card. So I am not able to upgrade. If you can arrange a bank account, I can transfer money.

Trying the whole day to pay through paypal and it says: "At this time, we are unable to process your request. Please return to Put.io and try another option."

Whats is going on? Im using paypal many times per month for years now and never had problems. Please get this resolved

One question: Should my put.io account have the same email as my paypal account?
Because Im using different email adresses for paypal and put.io

I want to keep my account, but cannot pay due to paypal issues..
I kindly demand an extension on my account until this issue is solved since it is not my fault, or a payment alternative.

    Fingers crossed for your answer,

    Alper.

I think they do not allow to pay from different countries, I have a paypal registered with an address in Germany, verified, and using it almost every day to pay online, but wiht put.io it doesnt work.

@STAFF if you want customers, please take care of this and sort it out with paypal, its a bad sign to start business like this.

We've read alot about this issue (API error 10417) And it looks like the bank who issued the credit card is denying payment to PayPal for this transaction. We don't know why, but changing the credit card registered in PayPal should solve the problem.

We extended the beta periods of people had this issue before 9th of April.

We didn't give up on this yet.

    Thanks Cem for the reply!
At the moment I don't have another option for a credit card.
My german bank is "Deutsche Bank". Maybe that's helping?!

you saying that you extended the beta for the users who have this problem but my account is on limbo mode, means I have only couple days left... :(

I will call paypal now to see if this is an issue of my bank, which I seriously doubt.

So, just called paypal, they looked into this and told me that this is a problem of how the paypal API has been implemented on put.io. It has nothing to do with my account.

Please put.io staff, fix this soon. You have such a magnificient service and you have loyal customers willing to pay. Would be a pity if this would fail because of a payment issue.
