RSS feeds and torrent hashes
Hello.
I ran into a situation the other day that I'm not sure is normal behaviour or a bug.
In Put.IO, I began a torrent transfer that appeared as a link in an RSS feed manually adding the file. When Put.IO checked my RSS feed that I KNOW contained this particular torrent (verified in browser and RSS reader) it did not automatically start a transfer for the torrent. My other transfer was in progress. Hashes matched.
My question is, does Put.IO choose to NOT download a torrent in an RSS feed if it has the same hash as a current transfer? That would be great behaviour because it means that if I manually start an identical hash download it won't be downloaded twice and have to be canceled in favour of my already in progress transfer.
Please confirm that this is normal behaviour or a bug.
Thanks,
heyadam

Hello heyadam,
This is correct. We do not add the same hash tagged torrent if it's already added.
But,
If you try to add it after the first one finished seeding, it will be added as a seperate transfer.
Kind regards,
Cem
