email sharing?

Hello,

I am sorry if this has been answered b4, couldn't find an answer thu..

I need to share my links with my freinds on facebook and email by sending them the link url, however I am really
concerned if I did this I would consume my bandwidth really soon!

any idea?

   Hello Ahsan99,
   Put.io doesn't support link sharing yet. It's not designed that way.

   It will try to authenticate the user to make sure you are the one trying to stream it. If your and your friend's IP addresses are the same, your friend will be able to download the file.

   We do not suggest sharing links. If someone passes the authentication somehow, it will consume your bandwidth quota.

   Ability to share files with people who aren't Put.io a member is one of the things we are working on.
