Ratio
Hello Folks,
Can we have a clear idea of the ratio policy of put.io for torrents? I am reading on the help documents that each and every torrent is seeded until 1:1 ratio is reached but I am not sure this is correct, as I have read somewhere else that torrents are cut off after 24 hours, even if they have not reached 1:1.
Thanks

On the features page (http://put.io/features) it says it seeds all torrents until 1:1.15, but in all other documentation is says 1:1. In a different questions on the support pages here it says 1:1.1. So I'd also like some clarification on this.

Hey guys,
Our torrent clients are set to seed until the ratio is 1:1.15.
We want to guarantee seeding until 1:1 so we increased the upload amount to 1.15 just in case. Some trackers doesn't record the last request and the seeding ratio ends up short. We decided to seed a bit more than promised because of this. That's why the number is odd.
We remove torrents from the client if this ratio is met or the transfer is idle for 24-48 hours (depending on the system load). Idle means not even 1 byte of transfer is done for that time period.
Let us know if you have further questions.
Best regards,
Cem
