Streaming MP4 on android devices
Is it possible to stream the converted MP4 videos on android? When I try it says the stream is not supported, it can play locally stored MP4 files however.

Hello Wolfcry0,
We'll fix that as soon as we get an android phone and figure it out. Sorry.

No worry's, I tried my iphone on 2 videos and one worked fine, the other I think the MP4 encoding got messed up somehow as it doesn't stream to VLC either.

Hi wolfcry0,
Can you please give us the link of broken MP4 file to investigate the issue.
I'm making this thread private so that you can paste the link freely.
Thanks for your help.
Cem

The broken file is fine now, seemed to have fixed it self.
As far as streaming on android, everyone says the file needs to be encoded for progressive streaming, I haven't found much info on that however.
Maybe you will have better luck than me, but it should be a way to fix streaming on android and most other devices.

I would love to see it working. Tell me if I can help somehow.
Thanks

Hey Gorkem,
Maybe itortv can help you on this. If I remember correctly, he solved the problem back then.
I've tested m.put.io with Nexus One and it's streaming just fine. (using android 2.2)
Kind regards,
Cem

Hello:
I'm also having problems streaming mp4 to my Nexus S. When I click on the link "Also available in mp4 format" it asks me for the flash plugin. Even when flash is installed, the video never loads. I also do not see any way to use the full version of of the site on my mobile. However if I load the URL manually, the video streams without problems.
Is there any way to force load the full version of the site?
Thank you very much. Best regards.
Felipe

Yep, the full site ironically streams videos without a hitch while the mobile site just refuses.
I hate switching my user agent every time I want to go to put.io.
