Well I don't know exactly what noip means by the files being corrupted; but occasionally when I download via the Zip feature the downloads tend to randomly stop at no particular percentage.
Does this only occur when the files are in excess of 4GB?
On a side note, I also wasn't using a download manager. Never used one previously and don't see why a lack of one would be an issue.

after the last update the zip was working much better. i run into issues only when the file or basket is over 3 GB. also when attempting to zip multiple at the same time it sometimes will end early and give me unexpected end of archive.

Ok, let me be really clear.
Anytime I download a zipped, of any size, on any day, the file shows up in the directory in which I downloaded it as a file without a file type - no .zip, .rar, etc. I can't force it to open in any arhcive manager. I generally use PeaZip because it's compatible with 129 archive types.
Example: At around 2:30pm Jan. 29th 2011 I zipped a file and put.io's zip selected beta reported that the file was 75.6mb in size. I downloaded it to my desktop and windows reports a file of 75.5mb in size. The file is of no file type and I can't do anything with it evan after attempting to open and extract it with PeaZip.
That's my problem. I have no idea what causes it. Any suggestions would be greatly aprpeciated.

btw, this started happening recently. I don't use zip very often so I can't tell you when it started happening, but I know that a month or two ago it must have been working fine.

I feel so incredibly stupid. My download manager was no longer automatically creating a file name, and thus the file wasn't ending in .zip, and for some reason PeaZip couldn't open the zip files since the file format extension wasn't present.
I rarely use the .zip feature so I didn't notice what was causing the problem.

Not sure if there has been an update recently, but my zip downloads have still been failing. For a while i just didn't care because i had so much extra bandwidth, but now it has pretty much sucked me dry. Just curious on the status if any. TIA
