Download multiple files.

Hi,

When I upload data of about 40GB, from Rapid share or other location it stores them as 100MB RAR files and can't extract because the file is too big. I understand that.
On the other hand you don't give any tool to download those hundred of files at once.
What I need to do is creating a groups of 8GB by manually select files and ZIP them.
It is very frustrating!
In the past (January) you tested a tool to download multiple files, any chance to have it back?

Thanks,
Amit.

    Hello Amit,

The "Zip Selected" feature is online. But I would recommend to use it with a
download manager, since if the connection drops and you don't catch it in a
few minutes the browser is unable to resume the download.

    Cheers,

    Hi Hasan,

    Thanks for your reply.
My problem is that my file is made of around 400 files. You don't have an option to select them all, only one by one. I am using download manager but I need to add each file and it is a huge headache.

    Regards,
    Amit.

    Hi Amit,

There is a select all button, but it's a bit hidden. I guess we'll have to fix that in the next iteration.

You can hit the "show more" button a few times until you see about 8G's of files and then "select all"

    Thanks again!

I used this method before but it is working only for the first 8GB. After that you get also the beginning of the list and than you have to manually add them one by one.

    Regards,
    Amit.

    Hello Amitdo,

Maybe after you get the zip link, (when the files are already selected), you
could move them to a temporary folder. And then do the same with the rest.

So sorry. we're aware of our UI problems, but it'll have to wait for the
    next design iteration.
