I noticed this as well. This is ominous, and the reason why I downgraded my account. How often can we expect this to happen?

    Hi,

Fileserve has blocked us and they changed lots of things, even with a normal account, downloading to my own computer, they are now too slow, I see download speeds like 100-120Kilobytes per sec on a single connection, even if we can make it work, it will be totally useless. A 720mb file will take more than 10 hours. We will try a couple of things in the next few fays but probably will remove them from the supported hosters.

Filesonic goes on and off we are trying to stabilize it with adding a couple of more accounts. Hoping more accounts will do the job.

Uploaded.to is like filesonic, but they have a weird bandwith calculation but hope we will make it work with adding a couple of more accounts.

Mediafire will be removed sorry about it we tried many things but can't find a way.

Rapidshare, wupload, hotfile, megaupload works as expected.

If you have any other hosters that you want to see please let us know, so we can try adding them. I see filejungle pops up in many download sites so we are thinking about adding them.

By the way, just a simple question, most of the time - as far as I can see - if a file is on fileserve its on wupload or rapidshare too, so is there any reason that you want one against other ?

PS: I am marking the conversation as private since the hosters name are mentioned, and you can write what you think about the hosters or sharing sites freely.

at avaxhome.ws 90% of the files are on filesonic. and only 10% or so of these files are also available on wupload.

I guess filesonic and fileserve are the most popular now and losing them is totally BAD. Wupload works fine but slower. Filejungle, uploadstation, depositfilesand letitbit are growing ... You may consider adding them as soon as possible...

And now hotfile is OFF too btw...

The majority of the files I need are only on filesonic/fileserve. Not having access to them is a real dealbreaker for me... :(

    Hi,

Just an update, i added more accounts to filesonic, hope it will result in more stable filesonic - we'll see in the next few days.

By the way, sometimes hosters go off by themselves too, maybe they are upgrading or down for maintenance, we monitor them and show as 'off' on put.io, mostly they get back online in short time, and we can do nothing about it. Rapidshare and hotfile are online now, i dont know how long they were offline but it wasn't anything related to us.

filepost.com appears more and more frequently at avaxhome.ws
    would you consider?

Yes, Filejungle.com and Filepost.com are definitely good additions to replace Fileserve.com (that has been removed). On the other hand, Filesonic would be irreplaceable...

    Hi guys

i've been on put.io since a while now… and i even was a beta tester when you started. I never complained about the service you provide and the quality of the subscription. I have a lot of doubts now… Since megaupload closed, a lot of people are hosting files in different servers/source. Why put.io is not expanding the number of sources??

We are paying for something quite useless now, because there is an important lack of source for downloading… really embarrassing…
By the past there was more sources !!

I have a lot of bandwidth and i can't use it….!! should i stay and pay??

Hope you're going to find a good solution to this URGENT problem.

For example : a list used by people you can insert as sources :

Deposit Files [DF], Free [FREE], Fufox, Uptobox, BayFiles, GigaSize,
Uploading, Zomgupload, Go4up, FileFactory, GigaUp, BulletUpload..

    Regards

Seriously thinking of stopping my subscription.

    Hi,

Just wanted to inform you we are looking into other hosters and checking if we can integrate them.

But the truth is file hosters are not reliable anymore, and if they are not going out of the business, they are getting more paranoid and trying to actively block us. Its a real cat and mice game, but really hard to keep up.

So maybe sticking to torrents might be a better alternative to give a better service - thats my personal opinion by the way -.

Anyways, what I want to ask is, why do you choose, file hosters but not torrents ?

I'll update as soon as we can add any new services, just allow us for a couple of days.

    Thank you,

Thank you for your response. I'll stick to torrents and wupload in the meantime.

Mostly the reason I use file hosters instead of torrents is because you are not dependant on seeders. Newly made torrents can be slow sometimes

On a more positive note: I must say the 'search for subtitles' function is really cool!

Sorry, but we're not playing with paysites anymore. They're too volatile
and keep making us look bad (overpromise and underdeliver). The ones who
are active are the last ones.

Then that's the reason for me to cancel my account. Put.io used to be great, but it is worthless to me now.
