List all files of a type

Is there a way to list all files of a type? I tried the list method with a type parameter, I tried the search with type, and the closest I got was searching with an extension. Trying to reduce the number of queries, and avoid walking the directory structure.

    Hey Tony,
    Currently the only option is searching with the "ext:XXX" parameter. This will return only limited number of results due to the performance issues.

    I couldn't help much but thanks for contacting us about this. It's good to know what your needs to be able to improve the api in the future.
