Since Roku has decided to end private channels by March 2022, the only alternative is to sideload our channel on your device.

Here are the instructions:

Step 1: On a computer connected to the same network as the Roku, go to https://put.io/dl/putio-roku-v2.zip and download the zip file. (Don't extract it.)

Step 2: On the Roku, enable Developer Mode. To do this, press the buttons on the remote: HOME, HOME, HOME, UP UP, RIGHT, LEFT, RIGHT, LEFT, RIGHT (🏠 🏠 🏠 ⬆️ ⬆️ ➡️ ⬅️ ➡️ ⬅️ ➡️) You will be presented with the Developer Settings page.

Select Enable Developer Mode, choose a password and select I Agree twice. Make a note of the IP address. The Roku will reboot.

Step 3: Back to your computer, open a browser and enter the IP address of your Roku. (The one you noted on the earlier step) It will ask for a username and password. The username is rokudev, the password is the password you chose while enabling Developer Mode.

Click on Choose File and navigate to where the downloaded ZIP file is and select it. Click Install with ZIP and the ZIP file will be loaded onto the Roku box.

If successful, you will see an "Install Success" message in the browser. Now, when you return to your TV, you will see the put.io channel as the last channel. (Developer channels are not allowed to move and you're only allowed one, unfortunately).
